Cookbook: Eel Fried Noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Once defrosted, add shallot noodles pack into pan whilst simmering on low heat. Add 150mL of water into pan, ensuring to move as you pour to apply moisture evenly. 

 

Step 2

Use chopsticks or spatula to spread out noodles as water mixes in. Do this while on low heat until noodles are completely separated.

 

Step 3

Add in eel, and intermittently stir to cook noodles evenly for 3 minutes low to medium heat.

Optional: Leave half the eel on the side for plating use later.

 

Step 4

Optional: If you left half the eel unused, grill in pan with the flat face down for 2 minutes on medium heat.

 

Step 5

Plate the noodles and enjoy!

Optional: Add grilled eel on top as shown.
